Do you want take-out for your walk under the blooming cherry blossom trees? Seoul hotels are offering to-go meals perfect for your outdoor activity.

Sheraton Grande Walkerhill

Sheraton Grande Walkerhill’s open-air café, Tasty Box, is offering a cherry blossom inspired lunch-box. The spring special lunch-box consists of a pink California roll, flower-shaped salmon salad, braised abalone and vegetables, assorted skewers, wagashi (traditional Japanese confection) and fresh fruits. The cafe is also offering cherry blossom-themed beverages, snack, and ice creams. The lunch-boxes are available from April 9 to 24 at the café, which is accessible from Walkerhill Street near the hotel. Reservation is required because the lunch- boxes will be produced in limited quantities. The eco-friendly cafe is built from a shipping container and uses solar energy from panels on its roof. The hotel is also hosting the 2016 Walkerhill Cherry Blossom Festival during the same period, featuring small and big events, such as an art market, a photo contest, wine and beer fairs, and live music performances. Grand Hyatt Seoul

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s The Deli is presenting the “Picnic Lunch Set” which includes two kinds of salad, seasonal fruits, homemade cookies and a sandwich freshly prepared in the morning by the hotel’s chefs. Customers can choose from seven different sandwiches: crab and avocado, smoked turkey, chicken and walnut, roast beef and more. The Ritz-Carlton Seoul

The Ritz-Carlton Seoul’s Japanese restaurant, Hanazono, is presenting the “Spring Picnic Lunch-box” which includes grilled black cod, abalone gratin, broiled eel, grilled hanwoo beef sirloin, grilled king prawns, fried salmon, smoked salmon salad, seven pieces of sushi, steamed rice, miso soup and fruits. The lunch-box is priced at 86,000 won (tax included) and requires reservation. The restaurant’s head chef, Pyo Gil-taek, said his team arranges all the foods in bite-sized pieces appropriate for a picnic. In addition, the lunch-box uses the finest seasonal ingredients delivered fresh daily, and thus, its contents may vary depending on the ingredients available. Grand Hilton Seoul

Grand Hilton Seoul’s Japanese restaurant Mitsumomo is presenting “Takeout Lunch-box” which includes Japanese-style grilled fish, braised sea bream, deep-fried shrimp, deep-fried vegetables, miso soup, rice and fruit. The lunch-box is priced at 66,000 won (tax included) and is available until April 30. Grand Hilton Seoul is also offering the “Spring Picnic” package until June 12, which provides guests staying in the executive room a free coupon for the lunch-box. Lotte Hotel World

Lotte Hotel World’s DElica Hans is offering picnic sets, featuring homemade sandwiches, seasonal fruits and various beverages. The sandwich set, priced at 25,000 won, includes three kinds of homemade sandwiches, as well as scones, seasonal fruits, organic juice and Volvic water in a convenient Lotte Hotel cooler bag. The beer set, priced at 30,000 won, includes six cans of Kloud beer, as well as jerky and mixed nuts also in the cooler bag. The beer set is recommended for those who wish to enjoy ice-cold beer. Millennium Seoul Hilton

Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Cilantro Deli and Genji are offering gourmet takeout lunch-boxes. Cilantro Deli is offering pretzel sandwiches, cheese stick sandwiches, club sandwiches, ham and cheese sandwiches, healthy vegetable sandwiches, paninis, smoked salmon sandwiches, and avocado salmon rolls. The lunchbox prices range from 8,000 won to 12,000 won. Meanwhile, Genji is offering five different bento boxes, using ingredients like grilled eel, hanwoo beef, abalone, octopus, as well as California rolls and fish cakes.
