Paraguay's Ambassador to Korea Raul Silvero Silvagni, signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea IT Business Women's Association (KIBWA) at the organization's office in Jongno-gu, Seoul, on Feb. 16.
According to the Paraguayan Embassy, the two parties agreed to support women with their overseas career plans as well as further improve business cooperation, education and research in the IT sector.
"I hope that the MOU enables more Korean women to build their IT careers in Paraguay, and the KIBWA will play a pivotal role in realizing that," the ambassador said.
KIBWA Chairman Kim Hyun-ju said: "We will do our best to introduce and promote the Paraguayan IT industry to Korean businesswomen and it will become a win-win for both parties."
The embassy said the agreement also includes that the two sides will help each other utilize government authorities and exchange any information that is of mutual benefit and interest.
