A close aide to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is seated at the end of a row of leaders watching the Chinese military parade marking the end of World War II on Thursday, according to TV footage aired by Chinese state-run media.
Choe Ryong-hae, a member of the Politburo Presidium and the secretary of the Central Committee of North Korea's ruling Workers' Party, arrived in Beijing on Wednesday for the military parade. He is seated on the right side of the row.
South Korean President Park Geun-hye is seated much closer to Chinese President Xi Jinping for the parade viewing, with only Russian President Vladimir Putin sitting in between Park and Xi. (Yonhap)
