Teenage singer-actress IU performed Tuesday in front of some 4,000 Japanese fans at the Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo, signaling a green light for her advance into the Japanese pop market.
She performed a total of six songs including the single “Good Day,” which will be released in Japan on March 21. The “Good Day,” which was a hit for the singer, will be released in Japanese.
Prior to the release of her debut single, the 19-year-old will take part in one of Japan’s largest fashion events, Tokyo Girls Collection 2012 Spring/Summer, that takes place on March 3 in Yokohama.

IU debuted on a Korean music program called M! Countdown in Sept. 18, 2008.
