From Top, Kong Hyo-jin from "Beautiful Days" and her acting debut horror film "Memento Mori" (1999)
Actress Kong Hyo-jin's career in movies has been hit or miss. Her track record in televisions, however, has close to perfect.
Kong, 35, has appeared in a slew of television dramas over the past decade, including many shows that shattered audience records.
Kong's previous dramas such as "Beautiful Days" (SBS, 2001), "Sang Doo! Let's Go To School" (KBS, 2003), "Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy" (SBS, 2005), "Thank You" (MBC, 2007), "Pasta" (MBC, 2010) and "Master's Sun" (SBS, 2013) continue to generate significant traffic in Internet re-runs. Her new SBS drama, "It's Okay. It's Love," is also off to a bright start in viewer ratings.
Kong's breadth as an actor is certainly an asset. She portrays the most tragic characters in serious dramas and the funniest persons in comedies.
