Korea-Latin America forum to be held

About 500 high-ranking officials from Central and South America will visit Seoul this week for the Korea-Latin America forum on Wednesday.

Foreign ministers and other high-ranking officials will gather for the High Level Forum on Korea-Latin America Partnership at the Lotte Hotel in Seoul to discuss ways to expand cooperation and improve growth.

Participants include Costa Rican Foreign Minister Manuel Gonzales Sanz and his Ecuadorian counterpart Ricardo Patino.

The Embassy of Costa Rica in Seoul said its foreign minister would head the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) quarterly dialogue with Korea on the same day. Costa Rica assumed the rotating chairmanship in January.
