Farewell to Korea

Sending off taekwondo volunteers

Paraguayan Ambassador to Korea Ceferino Valdez, center, poses with volunteers of the World Taekwondo Peace Corps, pose for a photo in his

The corps founded in 2007 was established to add support to the national branding campaigns, which were aggressively undertaken during the former President Lee Myung-bak administration. The first batch of volunteers was dispatched in 2008. Overall, more than 1,000 have been sent overseas,
and Paraguay has received eight volunteers.
