Park returns home from state visit to China

President Park Geun-hye returned home Sunday from a four-day state visit to China, where she agreed with Chinese President Xi Jinping to significantly upgrade relations between the two countries and cooperate closely to end North Korea's nuclear program.

   The trip also included meetings with two other top Chinese leaders, Premier Li Keqiang and Zhang Dejiang, the chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and a friendship address at Beijing's Tsinghua University, the alma mater of Xi.

   The highlight of the visit was Thursday's summit with Xi.
