Biggest snowfall in 12 years

Seoul and central regions received the heaviest snowfall for February since 2001 at 16.5 centimeters, the Korea Meteorological Administration said Monday.

Incheon, and Gyeonggi and Gangwon provinces also received more than 12 cm of snow.  

Primary and secondary schools in and around Seoul delayed the start of class by one hour, while others were closed for the day.
