About a year ago, a Korean was found dead in the Korean town in Itaewon. Nothing has happened since in terms of police investigations.
Everyone implicated in the stabbing murder is pleading innocence, especially the two Korean suspects.
Of the four that police were interrogating, one returned to Korea.
The crime occurred around 5 a.m. on Dec. 8, 2011 when reports came in that there had been violent assault outside a bar operated by a Korean.
A witness said he saw four men in their 20s assaulting the woman, who was a hostess at the bar. The local police managed to bring three of the four suspects.
The case was brought to trial in which one was set free on bail and the verdict on the other two is still pending.
The intriguing thing is that the case has similarities with a case in Seoul in which a woman was stabbed to death in the restroom of a hamburger restaurant with two Americans implicated pointing the finger at each other. Both were eventually set free for lack of evidence.
