Seoul, Ankara sign MOU on agriculture cooperation

Korea and Turkey have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance bilateral exchange and cooperation on the production of food and other areas in agriculture, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries said Sunday.

The MOU was signed between Korean Agriculture Minister Suh Kyu-yong and his Turkish counterpart Mehdi Eker, the ministry said in a statement. Suh is currently visiting Ankara.

The MOU calls for the establishment of a committee for cooperation in agriculture, which is in charge of seeking ways to enhance agriculture cooperation between the sides. (Yonhap)
