Obama says he can do 'Gangnam Style' dance
WASHINGTON (Yonhap) -- President Barack Obama has seen the world's popular music video of Psy's "Gangnam Style," and can do the horse-riding dance, according to a news report.
Obama told a New Hampshire radio station he knows how to do the dance, reported Politico, which specializes in political news.
"I just saw that video for the first time," Obama was quoted as saying in the interview that aired Tuesday, when U.S. voters went to the polls to decide whether to allow the president to stay in office for the next four years.
He was referring to a song and dance by South Korea's rapper Psy, who has risen to global stardom.
Obama was asked if he would be willing to do the dance at next year's inauguration ball if he wins re-election.
"I'm not sure that the inauguration ball is the appropriate time to break that out," Obama said, adding he may do it "privately" for his wife, Michelle.
"Gangnam Style" has ranked second on the Billboard hits list for six straight weeks and its official music video has recorded more than 600 million views. There have been many imitation videos.
