The route will operate every day from Seoul to Dallas and vice versa. The flight from Incheon International Airport will depart at 5 p.m. and arrive at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport at 4:20 p.m. The flight from Dallas will depart at 10:30 a.m. every day and arrive at Incheon at 3 p.m.

The aircraft will be Boeing 777-200 offering economy, business and first class seats.

"Korea is a very important market for American Airlines. The new flight route has reconfirmed our interest in the Asia-Pacific region. We plan to strengthen the global flight network," said Erwan Perhirin, Asia-Pacific Vice President of American Airlines.

According to the Office of Travel and Tourism Industries in the United States, Korea was ranked one of the top 10 countries Americans visited. The number of Korean tourists visiting the U.S. was also high at 97,309 in May.
