Millennium Seoul Hilton’s Japanese restaurant Genji presents seasonal delicacies of pine mushrooms, available in both a la carte and an eight-course menu, throughout September.

The dishes include grilled pine mushrooms, pine mushroom tempura, steamed pine mushrooms in an earthen teapot, and pine mushrooms and seafood grilled in butter. They are priced between 45,000 won and 150,000 won. The eight-course meal will present pine mushroom and seafood sushi, steamed crab with turnip and grilled lobster at the price of 200,000 won.

InterContinental Seoul COEX

InterContinental Seoul COEX introduces sensational private weddings in style, Sky Wedding, on the 30th floor boasting spectacular views of the city.

Two function rooms will be able to host 60 guests for the exclusive wedding, with flower decorations and other bespoke arrangements available. Another function room can be used by the bride, while the outdoor sky terrace provides a party-like ambience.

A wedding cake and ice sculpture will be offered for free, and Western, Chinese and Korean menus are available at 90,000-120,000 won per person. For more information, call 02-3430-8686.

The Plaza

The Plaza’s house wedding service Xystum House will hold a bridal fair “Design Your D-Day” from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 28 at the hotel’s 22nd floor.

Showcasing wedding style and concept in 2011 fall and winter, the fair will provide one-on-one meetings for advice on customized weddings including invitations, thank-you gifts, wedding pictures, wedding shoes, makeup, dress and a wedding album. For clients who sign up for wedding consultations, a Xystum flower bouquet will be offered.

Westin Chosun Seoul’s international-style brasserie, the Ninth Gate Grille, offers True Natural Beef promotion through Sept. 30.

The set menu features environmentally friendly raised Brandt Beef steak cooked in the wood-fired oven along with side dishes and desserts. Brandt Beef is a family-owned premium beef producer in California. It raises cattle in a humane atmosphere without the use of antibiotics and feeds the animals a vegetarian corn-based diet, producing some of the world’s best-tasting beef.

Imperial Palace Hotel

Imperial Palace Hotel’s deli Amador has renovated into a cafe-style deli and introduces four new brunch sets.

The sets featuring sandwiches, scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekends at 17,000 won. Amador has seven tables and 28 chairs with floor-to-ceiling glass windows for customers to enjoy their meal along with warming sunshine.
