Hong Kong Entry Made Easier for Cathay Pacific Travelers

Cathay Pacific Airways and Dragonair said Thursday that frequent flyer visitors who are members of the airlines' Marco Polo Club can now enjoy quicker and more convenient immigration clearance at Hong Kong International Airport.

Effective since last month, eligible Marco Polo Club members can spend less time passing through immigration using the Frequent Visitor e-Channels. This is a convenient self-service clearance facility where travelers do not need to fill in arrival or departure cards and the clearance process is streamlined.

The service is now available to all Marco Polo Club Silver tier members or above who are aged 18 and over and possess valid travel documents and a multiple-entry visa for Hong Kong (if one is required).

Those eligible to use the service will have to enroll by presenting their membership card and travel documents in person at the Immigration Department Enrolment Office located in the arrival hall at Hong Kong International Airport. Enrolment is free of charge.

More information about Frequent Visitor e-Channels can be found at the Hong Kong Immigration Department's Web site at www.immd.gov.hk.
