Jin Air is offering a travel package in which participants can enjoy Jeju Island's breathtaking scenic beauty together with cultural celebrities.

The trekking package explores the Jeju Olle, a 12-course system of hiking trails on the island, once every month from September to December. It is offered by the budget carrier in conjunction with the Korea Tourism Organization and the literature group ``Munhaksarang."

Five celebrities will take part in the four programs.

The first package will be available for three days from Sept. 10. Novelist Kim Ju-young, author of the novel ``Gaekju," mountaineer Um Hong-gil and actress Ko Doo-sim, a native of the island, will join the trek for the first, second and third Olle courses, respectively.

Participants will be able to take photos and have meals together with the celebrities. Events such as a reading from Kim's novel and a movie screening, will also be presented at night.

Jin Air will put together a special charter flight for the participants, who will receive a seedling of Washington palm, a scarf, and a travel guidebook as gifts. A raffle will be held for a roundtrip plane ticket between Seoul and Jeju.

In October's program, from Oct. 15-17, poet Chung Ho-seung will accompany participants on the fourth, fifth and sixth Olle courses. From Nov. 12-14, climber Um will join the hike of the seventh, eighth and ninth courses. Novelist Park Bum-shin will journey the 10th, 11th and 12th courses from Dec. 10-12.

Reservations for the package are available through the carrier's Web site, www.jinair.com.

Olle, in the Jeju dialect, means a narrow pathway connected from the street to the front gate of a house. The path system is called ``Korea's Camino de Santiago," referring to the 800-kilometer pilgrimage from France to Spain.

Walking-lovers have developed the 12 trails by finding hidden roads, restoring old paths and searching for lanes which cars cannot access. The trails are a combined 200 kilometers long and it takes between three to six hours to complete one.
