A woman has recently posted pictures which show a man who sexually harassed her and another woman on the bulletin board of a portal site.

The woman, who wanted to remain anonymous, took the pictures in a subway train on Line 5. In the pictures, the man sexually harassed them by jabbing his elbow into their breasts.

According to the woman, only identified as B, the sexual harassment took place between the Janghanpyeong and Haengdang stations around 7:10 p.m. on May 9. “At the Janghanpyeong station, a man sat on my right and there was something strange as the man’s elbow kept touching my breast.”

She said she was displeased with the harassment and tried to push his elbow with her elbow. However, the man resisted back, continuing to touch her with his elbow.

She said that “he continued to resist with his elbow. I bent my waist forward to avoid his harassment, seeing video footage I took.”

She said the man finally moved to the opposite side where another woman, dressed in a checkered shirt, was seated.

The man, pretending to sleep, repeatedly opened and closed his eyes, and pushed his elbow into the woman.

She took pictures of the man sexually harassing the woman with a camera installed on her mobile phone.

She said she approached the woman and asked her to move to her side. “The woman stood up and moved to a seat near me.”

As soon as the seat, which was vacated by the woman, was occupied by a man, the man moved to another carriage, she said.

The alleged sexual harassment triggered women’s outrage. A message posted on the site by a female Internet user, read: “There are a lot of men like this guy. It’s a thing women experience frequently. It was terrible. I experienced similar things on Line 5.”
