Korean speech contest set for May 17

The Institute of International Education at Kyung Hee University will host the 15th World Korean Language Speech Contest for Foreigners on May 17.

This year’s theme for the annual contest will be “My Favorite thing about K-pop” and “The Experience of Korean Culture.” Any foreigners able to speak Korean can participate in the contest.

Participants will be selected on the basis of the speech scripts, which should be submitted for prior screening. Winners will be awarded cash prizes and certificates.

Registration will continue until April 25.
