A video, which shows an African-American attacking an old man on a local bus, has caused adverse reaction from Korean netizens.
One netizen posted the video, titled “A black man who derides an old man in a local bus,” on a website on Sunday. “The African-American made a disturbance for almost 20 minutes,” he said of the incident.
In the video, the young man wearing a blue T-shirt and a blue cap is mocking the old man, provoking an argument. He is saying bad words repeatedly not only in his native language but also in awkward Korean.
One woman sitting next to the victim is trying to prevent him from continuing such behavior, but the attacker, who cannot control his anger, starts hitting the old man. Some passengers in the bus request the bus driver to stop or go to a police station.
“How could this situation happen?” “It is so embarrassing that I cannot speak about it.” “The African-American has to be arrested” are among comments by furious netizens who watched the video.

흑인 버스 난동, 노인 폭행에 네티즌 "어이가 없다"
국내 시내 버스서 난동을 피운 한 흑인 남성의 동영상이 논란이 되고 있다.
8월28일 오후 한 온라인 커뮤니티 사이트에는 '우리나라 버스에서 욕설하고 조롱하는 흑인'이라는 제목으로 한 영상이 게재됐다.
영상을 게재한 글쓴이는 "20분 동안 저 난리를 쳤다"는 글을 덧붙이며 당시 상황을 설명했다.
영상 속에는 한 흑인이 파란색 티셔츠와 야구 모자를 착용한 채 자리에 앉아있는 한 남성에게 시비조로 조롱을 하고 있다. 이 흑인 남성은 "Shut up(닥쳐)"을 연발하면서 비웃듯이 큰 소리로 웃기도 하다가 "몰라, 개xx"등 어설픈 한국말로 욕설을 퍼붓기도 한다.
이에 옆에 있던 한 중년 여성은 소리를 지르며 이 흑인 남성을 말리지만 크게 흥분한 듯한 흑인 남성은 몸을 날려 앉아있던 남성을 가격했다. 그러자 주위에 있던 승객들은 "차 세워달라", "경찰서로 가 달라"고 버스기사에게 요구하고 있다.
영상을 접한 네티즌들은 격분하고 있다. 네티즌들은 "말도 안 되는 일이다", "어이 상실", "당장 우리나라에서 꺼져라", "처벌해라" 등의 흥분된 반응을 보이고 있다.
