Killer whales with their round nose and huge body are famous for being docile towards humans as a species.
However, among them, is one ‘violent’ whale that can devour great white sharks which are second to none in terms of violence.
This killer whale, called the orca, is notorious for being able to tear apart a ferocious great white shark.
The shark-eating orca was snapped by Barry O'Connor near Land's End, according to British newspaper The Sun Saturday.
O’Connor, 40, of East London, unable to conceal his surprise said: "It's amazing to see it so close."
Expert Peter Richardson said: "It may have become separated from others while hunting."
An orca can grow up to 10 meters in length.
