Actress says she had an affair with a well-known politician

South Korea faces a potentially explosive sex scandal as an actress has turned to media, claiming that she had extramarital affairs with a well-known incumbent politician.

Actress Kim Bu-sun, 47, said she “slept with” a lawyer-turned politician who was the same age with her in 2007, right after the 2007 presidential election.

“He said he was a single at that time. We went out for a date to the Incheon beach. He took a picture of me, just like lovers did. He also carried my bag for me,” Newsis cited her as saying.

“Then, a few days later, we slept together. Previously, I had a long period of lonely life. So, I felt happiness. He was very proactive in his approach. As a woman, I was even thankful to him,” she said.

The next morning after the alleged affair, Kim was thinking about preparing a breakfast for the two. But the man was preparing to leave.

“I joked to him, ‘It looks like you have a wife and children waiting for you?’”

He didn’t answer her question. “I realized he was a married person.”

In the report, the actress asked the media not to reveal the man’s real name “because he is now a well-known politician.”

She nonetheless said she decided to come forward about the matter because she felt unduly manipulated by him, alleging that he is using his power to give her a “hard time,” the report said.

Based on the information about the man’s age and his previous occupation as a lawyer, bloggers soon identified the politician. Pundits pay a close attention to how this potentially explosive revelation will influence the current power jostling between the opposition Democratic Party and the ruling Grand National Party, whose relations are already strained over a bribery allegation involving the first lady.

Kim, the actress, debuted in 1982. She earned media attention last year when she said: “Marihuana is a natural herb medicine.”

‘나는 그에게 당신은 마치 당신을 기다리고 있는 부인과 자녀들이 있는 것처럼 보인다’고 농담을 했다.

그는 대답이 없었고 ‘나는 그가 결혼을 한 사람이라는 것을 알았다.’

김부선은 그 남자가 잘 알려진 정치인이니 그의 실명을 밝히지 말아 줄 것을 언론에 요청했다.
