The U.K.-based banking giant, HSBC announced Thursday the appointment of Sunil Veetil as head of global payments and cash management in Korea. Veetil will be responsible for driving the global cash management business strategy in the nation.

Veetil relocated from Indonesia, where he served as chief of global payments and cash management for three and a half years.
