A former chief of the Korean Community in Orlando, Fla., was arrested for sexual harassment and sexual assault, Yonhap reported Saturday, citing the Korea Weekly, a newspaper published in the U.S.
The unidentified person sexually harassed a female teen 96 times and sexually assaulted her three times since 2004 when she was 15 at that time, it said.
The police detained him for investigation last month and on Thursday officially issued an arrest warrant. He is behind bars without bail.
Local TV, which reported the case, said the victim was one of his relatives, but didn't elaborate.
