A court gave a 20-year-jail term to a child molester, Wednesday.

The Suwon District Court ordered a 31-year-old Yun to spend 20 years behind bars, and to wear an electronic anklet for another seven years after he finishes the term.

According to the court, Yun raped an eight-year-old girl in the bathroom of a church in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, earlier this year.

While still being investigated for the crime, Yun was caught for having raped a 60-year-old woman and attempted to sexually assault another woman.

Yun pleaded for leniency on the basis that he was under the influence of alcohol when he committed the crime, but the court rejected it, saying that his plea lacked relevance.
