The organizer of the TEPS exam at Seoul National University (SNU) plans to run the English proficiency test more often ― 16 times annually starting from next year. Currently, the tests take place once a month.
SNU said Tuesday the exam will be held twice in the months of March, April, June and August.
TEPS, short for Test of English Proficiency developed by SNU, is taken by graduate school hopefuls, job seekers and company employees.
The test's organizer also says examinees will get their results faster. Until now, it took two weeks for students to receive their scores, but SNU will shorten the period to a week. Applicants for additional tests in writing and speaking will also get their results within 13 days rather than the current four weeks. For more information, call the test organizer at (02) 886-3330.
