A total of 94 domestic flights will be rescheduled or cancelled on Thursday when the college scholastic ability tests are conducted nationwide, the Korea Airports Corp. said Sunday.
Two international flights are also likely to be rescheduled, airport officials said. They are an 8:40 a.m. Asiana flight bound for Osaka from Incheon International Airport and Asiana's Tokyo-bound flight departing at 8:45 a.m.
The affected flights were originally scheduled when listening tests ― about 23 minutes starting at 8:35 a.m. and 30 minutes starting at 1:05 p.m. ― are conducted. Flights will be rearranged nationwide, airport authorities said.
The authorities said that 73 domestic flights will be rescheduled and 21 will have their departures canceled.
Thursday's exams are used as a key basis for colleges and universities when they select freshmen, with more than half a million high school seniors and repeaters taking part.
