A court ruled Friday a restaurant owner must pay 12 million won in compensation to a customer who broke two teeth on a stone in his dish.
Presiding judge Jang Nak-won of the Seoul Central District Court said the restaurant owner’s carelessness in cooking food is solely to blame for the accident.
The owner was ordered to cover all fees required to implant artificial teeth and other medical treatments to be carried out afterward.
The victim, identified by his surname Choi, bit down on a stone while eating a noodle at the restaurant in southern Seoul in May last year, and found his two molars broken as a result.

MStevens, what kind of religious propaganda is this? if a Christian, as if Christians are "holier than thou" souls on this earth.

I'm kind of wondering where did the rock come from... is this the fault of the food processing company? I mean most resturants don't make their food 100% but get it from wholesellers... and all they have to do is either warm it up... or cook it...

I have to agree with Donnie... The courts should of made this restaurant owner pay for double the dentist bill..(which is for pain and suffering) and the person who broke this teeth (if a Christian) should of not made the owner pay nothing over the dental bill...

6,000,000 a tooth seems a little high...I agree the restaurant owner should pay, but maybe Choi should
give 3 estimates from different dentists
