Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade will arrive in Korea, Sunday, for a four-day visit, during which he will hold a summit with President Lee Myung-bak, Monday, and meet with senior economic officials.
Wade will deliver a congratulatory speech at the second Korea-Africa Forum slated for Nov. 24 to 25 at the Lotte Hotel in central Seoul.
He also plans to meet with the heads of various firms, including the state-run Korea Rural Community Corp., and Samsung Construction and Trading Corp.
At the summit, the two leaders will discuss ways to strengthen economic cooperation between Korea and Senegal, and Korea's efforts to foster closer ties with African nations, Cheong Wa Dae said.
The two countries established diplomatic relations in 1962.
