Police have confirmed that K-Pop boy band Super Junior's Kang In had beaten up a patron in a bar brawl in Gangnam.
The confirmation came after tapes recorded on a closed-circuit surveillance camera were checked.
Kang In was booked without physical detention last Wednesday for getting into a fist fight with a patron at a bar. He claimed that he took a beating and had not engaged in a fight.
According to Gangnam Police Station, the tape showed that Kang In was having drinks with his friend, when two other bar patrons sat uninvited at their table.
Kang In and his friend went out of the bar and had a fight with the pair. The tape showed three more of Kang In's friends joined in the fight later. Kang In at first tried to avoid getting involved in the fight but later joined in, police said after viewing the recording.
