Spam mail and domestic online ads touting X-ray glasses that see through clothes are causing a stir among Internet users.

The made-in-China X-ray glasses are being advertised through Web sites and via e-mail. ``Leave your contact information in your reply. If unsatisfied, we will refund,'' the Web site says.

The ads contain photos of naked women allegedly taken through the glasses, which come with a price tag of 390,000 to 690,000 won ($310-550).

Major portals have already received numerous postings seeking contact information for the dealers, but their identities remain unknown.

Police are skeptical of the see-through glasses. ``See-through technology is now being used in the military. However, it's not that clear as much as these emails say,'' a police officer said. ``If the products do not work as advertised, it constitutes fraud.''

The X-ray glasses are being sold in China, according to Chinese media.
