A 26-year-old office worker identified as Kim was apprehended for theft, police said, Monday.
Kim who worked for a supplier of a large company during the day, was running an ``extra job'' as a burglar at night stealing 100 million won in cash and jewelry over the past five years, according to Ulsan Nambu Police Station.
Kim committed his first theft in 2004 when he broke into a car parked in an underground parking lot and stole a diamond, navigation system and a golf club worth 7.5 million won. Since then, he has burgled over 200 vehicles in the region and sold the stolen items at 30-40 percent of the market price.
He was caught when trading some identifiable items reported stolen. Police have filed for an arrest warrant.
