Discovery at Sungnyemun: The Cultural Heritage Administration revealed the discovery of a late Joseon-era road and the base of a civilian house, Tuesday, during the restoration project for Sungnyemun, also known as Namdaemun. A fire destroyed Sungnyemun, the landmark gate listed as National Treasure No. 1, earlier this year.
