The prosecution said Saturday it confiscated two computer servers of Onse Telecom, a private communications firm in charge of managing former President Roh Moo-hyun's personal Web site, to investigate whether presidential records had been leaked via Roh's own Intranet system at his residence in South Gyeongsang Province.

The move angered Roh aides. ``It is hard to understand why they did it. We already returned all records we had to hand over to the current government,'' said Kim Kyung-soo, an aide to Roh.

The two servers were found to have been used as part of hard drives of the ``e-Jiwon'' computer network management system at Roh's Bongha Village in Gimhae, it said.

Roh has been accused of illegally spiriting millions of files to the village when he left office. He returned some of the classified documents to the National Archives of Korea last month, but Cheong Wa Dae wants Roh to return the remaining files.

The presidential office said Roh handed over only 16,000 out of a total 2.4 million files created until the end of 2006. But Roh's office excluded most data, including personnel files and North Korean nuclear data.
