A 39-year-old Bangladesh man is suspected of having raped and sexually abused dozens of women, including several teenagers. Police seized video footage of the sexual abuse of more than 20 women at his home.
Police sought an arrest warrant for the man for raping a 15-year-old middle school girl and other women.
According to police, he approached the schoolgirl in Itaewon, Seoul on July 13, saying he wanted to learn Korean. After treating her to some snacks, he spiked her drink. Then he took her to his home and took pictures and made a film of him raping her. He forcefully detained her in his house for more than 30 hours. She was later found lying down drugged at a nearby subway station
The man has denied all allegations, claiming he offered her pills as she complained of a headache and that she agreed to sexual intercourse.
Police found video footage and pictures in his house of him sexually assaulting another school girl and dozens of other women, as well as 100 sleeping pills.
Police suspect he has distributed the sexual assault footage on the black market.
The man entered the nation in 2003 and has overstayed his visa.
