The presidential office Friday denied reports that the government plans to spend a certain portion of its defense budget for inter-Korean projects after the forthcoming inter-Korean summit.
Presidential spokesman Cheon Ho-seon said the reports are based on a mere ``reference document'' drawn up by the Ministry of Planning and Budget.
``The document has not been reported to the special committee for the summit,'' he said. ``It is irrelevant to the basic functions of the committee.''
