PCA Life said Monday that it will hold a ``PCA English-Soccer Camp'' with the British Council Aug. 17-19, inviting 70 children from the SOS Village, a shelter for underprivileged children.
The global insurer from the United Kingdom has held the soccer camp since last year to help children learn English in an interesting and systematic way, together with soccer classes over summer vacations.
Former Korean national team player Seo Jung-won will host the soccer class. Seo, the star player of the 1990s, has recently announced his retirement and is planning to go to Austria to get further training as a coach. Seo will share his interesting experience as a midfielder and teach children how to play football while having fun.
``PCA Life staff, its amateur soccer club members and SOS Village children will participate in the camp under the theme of `Dream,' and various programs are prepared to make the event meaningful for the children,'' a PCA Life spokesperson said.
