Pop singer Psy has been confirmed to have neglected his duty against the law during his mandatory military service at a software developing company, the Seoul Eastern Prosecutors’ Office said Monday. The allegations were checked in questioning Psy, whose real name is Park jae-sang, for more than eight hours till 7 p.m., a prosecutor said. ”Psy served favored military duty at a program developing firm. However, he admitted that he actually had not ability to develop software,” said Han Myeong-gwan, senior prosecutor. “I was not asked about my ability to develop software in entry interview and actually was in charge of planning and program test rather than developing programs,” Psy was quoted as saying. Singer Psy admitted that he had performed on 52 concerts and shows during the period of favored military service or employement and promised to report an additional performances if found during the serve.
