Actor Lee Jin-wook, who had been accused of sexual assault, returned home Monday morning after eleven hours of questioning by police.

Lee strongly denied allegations that he sexually assaulted a woman in her 30s. He said the intercourse in question was "consensual." The actor added he has filed a countersuit against the women, demanding she be punished for defamation.

According to police, the woman first reported the case at a one-stop support center inside a police hospital on July 13. They said the woman, whose identity is unknown, accused the actor of sexually assaulting her after she drank with him at his apartment.

Police have sent the woman's underwear to the National Forensic Service for analysis. Police will soon summon the two for questioning together.
