Kwang Dong Pharmaceutical said Thursday it was releasing two new antiperspirants.
Sweatclor, a roll-on type product is alcohol-free and proven suitable for sensitive skin, even children, according to the company.
The advised usage is simply apply the amount needed underarm, or on the palms and soles three to four times at night and leave it until the next morning.
The deodorant not only eliminates perspiration but also odor for up to 72 hours with one application.
A combination of natural herbs neutralizes perspiration odor as well as preventing yellow stains, the company added. The content is anti-bacterial and without harsh chemicals.
Sweatrol, a pad-type product is for facial use. For maximum effect, after thoroughly cleansing the face removing daily make-up, the user is advised to put the pad on the face for 2 to 30 minutes.
The treatment will curb profuse sweating of the face without clogging pores, thereby lessening the chance of the skin breaking out, the company said.
“People use different cosmetic products for face and body. The antiperspirants are not that different,” a company official said.
With only a single application, the effectiveness lasts longer than other glycopyrrolate-based products on the market, the official added.
“With increasing occasions scheduled for outdoor activities in the coming summer, we hope the two new products would help those who easily sweat in problem areas.”
The products are purchasable over-the-counter without a doctor’s prescription.
