Actress Song Hye-kyo has bought a pricy property in Seoul’s most-exclusive village, where some well-known public figures live.

Song, 34, bought a three-story house worth 9 billion won ($7.5 million) and registered the property’s owner as her mother, according to online daily Star Today.

The village, built by Hyundai Engineering & Construction in 1985, is famous for attracting wealthy public figures and has been dubbed Seoul’s “Beverly Hills.”

The neighbors include NHN Entertainment chairman Lee Joon-ho, Dong-A Socio Holdings president Kang Jung-seok, major game developer NCSOFT CEO T.J. Kim, celebrity couple Kim Seung-woo and Kim Nam-joo, and actress Jun Ji-hyun and her husband.

Each house has noise-proof walls and 24-hour security and is on 330 square meters of land. There are only 28 houses in the village.

Song returns to the small screen late this month with “Descendants of the Sun” on KBS.
