Local news outlets confirmed Wednesday that singer Taeyang from K-pop idol boy band Big Bang has been dating actress Min Hyo-rin for more than a year.
One of the reports quoted two of the couple's personal acquaintances as saying, "It's already been a long time since many K-pop idol singers knew about the couple's relationship."

"Their relationship is serious. Their looks and characteristics naturally bond well," the sources added.
Taeyang, 27, first met Min, 29, when he worked with her on a music video for his song "1 a.m." that he had released with his album "Rise" in June of last year. The two acted as a couple in the video.
After the video was released, netizens reported that they saw online photos of the two wearing the same pants and shoes and assumed they might be dating.
