ASEAN-Korea Center to hold modern media art exhibit

The ASEAN-Korea Center will host the modern media art works of photographers of ASEAN member states, starting Nov. 28.

For the exhibition, the center has invited 19 photography artists from 10 ASEAN nations including Brunei and Laos to shed light on the cultural commonalities and differences of the ASEAN nations and to seek new relationship in contemporary art among these nations.

The works that will go on exhibit include about 90 pieces that discuss the changing urban landscapes in the ASEAN region. There will also be images and installation works on display.

Starting first at the Blue Square Nemo in Hannam-dong through Dec. 5, the exhibition will then move to the annex of Seoul City Hall and then to the Hanam Art Center in Gyeonggi Province through Jan. 10, 2014.
