Hwanhee returns with fan meeting in Japan

By Park Si-soo

K-pop singer Hwanhee hosted a fan meeting in Japan on Friday, making it his first overseas performance since the 31-year-old was discharged from his two-year-long mandatory military service last month.

Hundreds of his fans packed a concert hall in Shibuya, Tokyo, according to his management agency, H2 Media Entertainment.

"I'm very happy to be here again," he said, recollecting another event of such he hosted two years ago. "I was able to complete the military duty without trouble thanks to your incessant supports. I will compensate you with beautiful songs and nice performances."

Opening the meeting with his hit song "Ha-da-ga" or "While doing" in English, he sang several other songs and presided over a variety of recreational activities for his fans during the event. The meeting also featured My Name, a five-member boy band produced by Hwanhee.

Hwanhee will soon have a comeback performance here with a new album.
