Lee, Park to star in 'Boiling Youth'

Actor Lee Jong-suk and actress Park Bo-young will be acting together in the film "Boiling Youth," Lotte Entertainment said Tuesday.

The agency also added on Tuesday that they have started filming from Aug. 1 in Soonchang, North Jeolla Province. The two recently wrapped up their leading role-stint in the popular television drama "I Hear Your Voice."

"Boiling Youth" tells of a teenage romance between an iconic school gang girl and a legendary Casanova in the 1980s in Hongseong, South Chungcheong Province.

The actress Park plays ‘Young-sook', the school's top girl gangster, and the actor Lee plays ‘Joong-gil', the school's legendary Casanova at Hongseong Agricultural High school.

After finishing the filming mainly in Hongseong and Soonchang district, the movie will be released early next year. Director Lee Yeon-woo, who gained fame from "Running Turtle," will be directing.
