As Korea is rapidly becoming an aging society, people are keen to prepare for their lives after retirement.
HMC Investment Securities has recommended "Korea Value Investment Pension Fund for 10 Years" as a long-term investment option for old age.
The brokerage firm claims it generates stable pension incomes with relatively high returns.
The product is a traditional value fund that invests in companies with a value-oriented investment style for the longer term.
Currently, there are similar value-based funds in the market, but HMC's product is one of the leading value funds that excel in risk management and return.
According to fund-tracking firm ZEROIN, the fund's returns have been on the rise, recording a 25.8 percent return for a three year investment and 38.5 percent for five years as of Oct. 22.
The fund focuses on the future values of the invested firms, rather than pursuing fast profits that are influenced by the current market situation.
"It is very important to choose a savings product, as a long-term pension investment will give a different result in the future according to its returns. It is good strategy for customers to invest in this product, because it will achieve stable returns," the company said.
