Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics have won top prizes with their latest electronics goods in major categories awarded by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA).
Samsung received awards in five categories, including digital camera, smart TV and mobile devices.
The firm has once again proved its leading position in the smartphone and tablet PC market with the Samsung GALAXY S4 mini tablet PC and Samsung GALAXY S4 smartphone in mobile device categories winning for seven consecutive years.
LG also won two awards with its 55-inch curved OLED TV and a micro audio system.
The award ceremony will take place at the upcoming audio visual and multimedia electronics show IFA in Berlin on Sept. 6.
EISA is an association of 50 special interest magazines in audio, home theater, in-car electronics, mobile electronics, photo and video, from 20 European countries, and editors in chief from all member magazines meet in June each year to decide winners of the awards based on the analysis of products by their publications.
