Dried persimmon

Models pose with dried persimmons at an AK Plaza store in Seoul, Monday. The mid-sized department store began selling 50 high-grade dried persimmons from Wanju, North Jeolla Province, for 280,000 won. The dried fruit was a favorite snack for many kings of the Joseon Kingdom (1392-1910).                                                                                           / Courtesy of AK Plaza
