“X-Note Z330,” the premium laptop from LG Electronics, is a product using the most advanced technology in the industry.

An innovator in the premium laptop market, LG’s X-Note has “Ultrabook” certification from Intel. According to criteria from Intel, which has the Ultrabook trademark, the product should be ultra thin, ultra secure and ultra responsive, on top of offering a smart visual experience and having a long battery life. Manufacturers can call their products Ultrabook only on the condition that they are 18 millimeter or thinner, take less than seven seconds to boot up, have more than five hours of battery life, and with pricing at around $1,000.

The X-Note more than satisfies these conditions in both function and design.

The 13.3 inch laptop has “Super Speed Tech” applied, which completes booting in 9.9 seconds after turning the power on. It is the shortest booting time among its peers, and at least three times faster than conventional laptops.

Equipped with the “Blade Display,” the laptop is only 14.7 millimeter thick, completing its ultra-slim design.

The manufacturer applied “Narrow Bezel” technology to the laptop, decreasing the width of the edge of the display by 8 millimeters from the previous models. Hence, even with the 13.3 inch display, the laptop equals the size of 12-inch laptops, and weighs only 1.21 kilograms, lighter than conventional net books.

It enhanced multitasking capability by 20 percent by loading Intel second generation core i7 and i5 processors and solid state drive, which curtailed the loading time of application programs.

The battery lasts for more than six hours, and it has better compatibility with other devices as it is equipped with USB 3.0 port and Intel WiDi Ready, a wireless display.

“It is an innovative product that realizes the utmost level of speed and thinness,” an LG Electronics spokesman said. “We plan to attract consumers who are looking for high-end function, design and portability, to lead the premium laptop market,” he added.

The X-Note Z330 series are priced at between 1.59 million won and 2.6 million won.
