’I’M YOU’ tailors portfolio for investors

“I’M YOU,” the wealth management service launched by Korea Investment & Securities, tailors the portfolio to the needs of each investor.

As its corporate slogan makes it clear, Korea Investment & Securities intends to be a “true friend” to its customers.

“I’M YOU,” the company’s asset management brand, is an extension of this philosophy, with a portfolio that is tailor-made to the client’s needs.

Since its launch in March last year, its four financial products have generated consistent returns over the base interest rate in the last year and seven months, even in these unpredictable times of the global economy.

Its “survival wrap account” launched in July this year under I’M YOU has proven itself another home run for the company, attracting more than 140 billion won worth of capital for three separate products numbered one, two and three.

Korea Investment & Securities continues to pioneer asset management in the country and will continue to do so with its client-focused approach.

While finance services firms tend to offer ready-made products that are often too complicated, I’M YOU gives easy options, classified into different styles of investment ― aggressive, active, moderate and conservative.

“It is not a traditional asset management service focused on diversification,” said a spokesman for Korea Investment & Securities. “The biggest difference for this product would be a systematic and scientific package that includes macroeconomic and market analysis, asset allocation, performance review and risk management.”

To reflect this commitment to clients, commission is collected only at the end of the cycle, unlike some advisors that receive an initial fee regardless of the performance of the portfolio.

I’M YOU is managed under a scientifically calibrated stock market analysis formula called the Korea Investment & Securities Investment Clock.

The I’M YOU survival wrap account follows the local craze for talent competitions with elimination rounds. Every three months, the five top-performing funds are selected anew to maximize returns. The increase of competition between different funds is also a great incentive.

It is intended to help investors who are lost amidst the barrage of options in the market today.

By living up to its own words, Korea Investment & Securities has further solidified its place in the asset management sector as a trustworthy manager and advisor ― and true friend.
