Completion of new plant: Hyundai Heavy Industries’ new hybrid power-desalination plant has been completed in Al Dur, Bahrain. The firm said Tuesday it held a ceremony to celebrate the completion on April 30. The plant has a gas combined-cycle power plant that can produce up to 1,245 megawatts of electricity and a water desalination plant that can produce 218,000 cubic meters of water.
